As a part of the Train the Trainer programme,
a workshop was conducted by the Chennai Education and Research
(E&R) Unit, at Chennai, from 6-8 June 2007. Over the 3 days there were
sessions on topics like Business Impact of Analytical Applications,
AA-life-cycle, Project Management, Warehouse Design, Data Unification, OLAP,
Enterprise Reporting and demo of the tools, ERWIN and INFORMATICA.

This CC initiative got a tremendous response from
the participating colleges (43 participants from 24 engineering colleges). Case
studies were presented, which served as fuel for brain storming sessions for
the participants.
The roll-out plan on Analytical Applications was
shared with the faculty members and students of the partnering colleges. The
plan helps faculty members share the deliverables and take-aways of the TTT in
their respective colleges.
