| Special Training Program – Feb 23rd – Feb 27th 2009 |
The Mysore DC Campus Connect team successfully conducted 5 days Special Training Program from February 23rd to February 27th 2009. Mr. R N Prasad, Associate Vice President, Education and Research Department, set the context and objectives of the program. The training was attended by 68 students from IIITB, Bangalore. The presentation was delivered by various units’ from E&R, IVS, BCMD, CCD and ILI.
The subjects covered during this training were:
Problem Solving Techniques
Programming & Testing
Database
Software Testing & its tools
Overview of Project management
Infosys Network
Soft Skills
The students were given Hands on experience in Problem solving using Raptor tool, Programming and Database. They were exposed to various tools used in testing with demonstration of QTP Version 9.0. They were given a case study in Banking application to come up with a project plan. An online test was conducted in the above subjects. They had a group activity on how to appear for an Interview.
The presentation received an overwhelming response from the participants. Participants asked many queries and clarified all their doubts.
