Team Campus Connect, Pune successfully conducted the third Faculty Enablement Program
(FEP) at the DC from January 13 to January 25. It was the 24th FEP organized across
DCs at Infy.
Vibhuti Kumar Dubey, DC Head – Pune, inaugurated the event and shared his views
on Infosys’ role and strategic importance of Campus Connect. Alok Tiwari, E&R DC
Manager, presented E&R – An Infosys Growth Engine. He elaborated the role of E&R
in the organization’s growth, and Campus Connect as one its offerings to align IT
education to industry requirements.
Soudamini Patil and Sarfaraz Jaitapkar, Pune Campus Connect anchors, presented the
FEP – Framework and takeaways, using digital media. Team E&R comprising Suvarna
Benke, Amit Tewari, Foram Parikh, Neelam Singh, Ganesh More, Anil Thombare, Meghna
Kartha, Bhaskar Ranaware, Bhakti Vyawahare and Zamir Sayyed, extended their support
towards organizing the program. Zamir Sayyed was the MC at the inauguration.
Highlights from the Pune FEP included:
- Presentation on Infosys network : Srinivas Sreekumar
- Online assessment for all nine modules in FEP : Priti Khodke & ACC team at Pune
- A series on the Project Management theme supported by senior Infoscions
- Essentials of Project Management : Jagdish Majethiya, Shrikant Deo, Girish Kukreja,
Deepak Sawdekar
- Project Management Tools : Ravi Agarwal , Arti Singh , Prem Jaisinghani
- Project Management - A Global Delivery Model perspective : Rajashree Digraskar,
Rohit Sant
- Project Management with distributed multicultural teams : Vineet Kondejkar
- A live project demo : Sameer Govind Joshi
- Importance of soft skills in IT Industry : Nidhi Dhanju
- Introduction to Mainframes : Sarfaraz Jaitapkar
On the final day, a video conference was arranged with Dr. Ramesh Babu, Program
Manager, Campus Connect. Priti Rao, DC Head – Pune, graced the closing ceremony.
In her address, she highlighted the importance of Campus Connect from the organization’s
perspective and how the academia and faculty could use the partnership program to
nurture students for a career in IT.
All participants were presented with certificates and mementos. The high standards
set at this FEP would not have been possible without the enthusiastic support from
various IBUs and ECUs. Mementos and participation certificates were also presented
to the volunteers in appreciation of their efforts. Bhakti Vyawahare from Team E&R,
was the MC at the closing ceremony. The event received a very good response from
all the participants.
