Principal Meet – 3rd Feb. 2011
The objective of Principals’ Meet are to:
  • Share objective feedback, in the recruitment and training, about the students joining from various Institute.
  • Acknowledge performing Institutes and Infosys volunteers for partnering in the growth quality talent pool.
  • Brainstorming with college management for sustainability of campus connect program.
  • Share current perspectives on trends and ascertain the way forward.
  • Share Infosys campus recruitment philosophy.
The event witnessed an active participation of 51 delegated from 26 colleges from states of Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi and Uttrakhand.

Highlights of Principal Meet:

Context Setting, Campus Connect Progress and New Development Sharing:
  • Sharing of Campus Connect Program Progress and New Developments, Results of the Incentive Policy Survey, Action Points from PM meet 2010 and College Score Card having college specific feedback on parameters like Recruitment & Training by Campus Connect team.
  • Session by Renu Vadhvani, Principal – E&R, on Professional Skills Development.
  • ‘Campus Connect Road Ahead’ for 2011 by Dr. Ramesh Babu, AVP – E&R and Head Campus Connect via video conference.


  • Campus Connect Rewards and Recognitions:

  • Appreciation for the contribution made by the colleges and Infoscions by Vikas Ahuja,DC Head.


  • Sharing Industry Expectations and Experience with Colleges:

  • Session on Entry Level Recruitment by Sudhir Kumar Mishra, Talent Acquisition Lead for Northern, Eastern, Western, North Eastern and Central India including Andra Pradesh.
  • A session on‘Training Experience at GEC – Learnings and Challenges’ by a group of 2009 pass out students from participating institutes. These Infoscions also shared the major courses and factors contributing to their training performance.


  • Focused Group Discussions and Theme Presentations by Colleges:
  • The participants were divided into groups and moved to separate discussion rooms. The objective of the session was to brainstorm on the said theme and come up with the action plan for the different stakeholders linked to Campus Connect.

Brainstorming on themes ‘Effectiveness’, ‘Sustainability’, ‘Co-Creating Electives - Challenges and Benefits’ and ‘Soft Skills Enhancement’ were facilitated by Manisha, Renu Vadhvani, Amit (E&R), Manas Tyagi and Neeraj Garg.
