| Team Campus Connect at Chandigarh has successfully conducted the Principal Meet on 22nd Jan 2009 |
The Theme of the event was GEAR – Greater Effectiveness and Results.
The Principal Meet received an overwhelming response and participation from 75 Delegates from 36 Engineering Colleges from the states of Rajasthan, Haryana, Punjab, UP, Delhi and Chandigarh.
Highlights of the event:
1. Inauguration and Context Setting for the Principal Meet by Sh. Sameer Goel, DC Head
2. Dr. Ravindra and Dr. Ramesh Babu, E&R joined through Video Conferencing to throw light on Objectives of the meet and Campus Connect Program and its Achievements.
3. Sharing of Campus Connect Program Status and Students Performance Sharing – The Recruitment and Learning Unit Perspective by Manisha, Campus Connect team.
4. Appreciation of Contribution made by Infoscions for Campus Connect by Sh. Chandra Nanda Kumar, BCMD
5. Appreciation for the contribution made by the colleges by Sh. Anil Kumar Gupta, PED
6. Session on The Expectations from Fresh Entrants by Sh. Sudhir Mishra and Sh. Saurabh from the Global Entry Level Recruitment & Campus Relations Team, by video conferencing
7. Sh. R.N. Prasad, E&R joined through Video Conferencing to share the ‘Road Ahead’ for 2009.
8. Session by Ms. Renu Vadhvani, ILI on Soft Skills deployment model.
9. Group Discussions on ‘Shaping Effectiveness at Campuses’ were facilitated by Tanmoy, Campus Connect team, for the participants on ‘FP as an Elective at Engineering Colleges/Universities’ , ‘GEAR – Greater Effectiveness and Results’ , ‘FP as an Online / e-Learning at Engineering Colleges’ and ‘Effective Industry Institute Partnership’.

A common appreciation that emerged out in the evening after the various sessions and discussions was “We are extremely glad to be partners with Infosys who is so committed and consistent in its efforts towards such great initiatives for the benefit of the students. We will also try our best to give an equal boost to the program.”
