Deep Dive Faculty Enablement Program (DDFEP) on Web Technologies conducted at Chennai DC

Deep Dive Faculty Enablement Program ( DDFEP) was conducted at Chennai DC from 18th May 2009 to 22nd May 2009. The Focus of the event was on Web Technologies. 56 Faculty Members from 28 Colleges participated in the event.
The event was inaugurated by Infosys Chennai Mahindra city campus Development Centre Head - Thothathri with his keynote address on “Role of Infosys Campus Connect Program and Driving Industry Electives”. Swapnil Pande, E&R gave an address on Campus Connect Overview, and Mukundh – Group Lead, Campus Connect joined through VC to explain the Context, Framework and Takeaways of DDFEP.
Highlights of 5 Days event were:
1. Sessions on Client Server Concepts by Malarvizhi Rathnam, E&R, and Introduction to Web Technologies by Sivasubramanyam Yanambakkam, E&R.
2. Session on Infosys Network and Web Applications by Antony Prakash, Senior Technical Support Manager - CCD , Sholinganallur.
3. Session, followed by Group Discussion and Presentation by participating Professors on Web Architecture by Sanjay Sugumar, E&R.
4. Session which introduced participants to Web Based Applications by Balasubramani Gopal - Senior Project Manager, CMED.
5. Blooms Taxonomy, Foundation Program Pre-deployment, Deployment and Post Deployment session by Swapnil Pande, E&R, along with the presentations of College specific Challenges and possible Solutions on Effectiveness by College Professors.
6. Web Server session by Santhosh Kumar Durairaj, E&R, and Web Security session by Saravana Perumal Thirumalai, Principal Product Manager (SETlabs).
7. Anand Govindrajan - Principal Architect of Software as a Service (SAAS) - session on OLTP in a Web Based Scenario followed by Group discussion and presentations by participating Professors.
8. Session on Software Development Methodology by Dinesh G, Delivery Manager, IHLD.
9. Session on Testing Web Applications by RajaSundaram Subramanian, Senior Test Manager, IVS.
10. Online assessment administered by Pushpalatha Sivakumar.
11. Session on Web Based User Interface Design by Marieswaran Sakthivel, Senior Project Manager, RETL, Swapnil Pande, E&R
12. Kandaswamy Palaniappan, Senior Project Manager and Madhu Sudhan, RETL - session on Best Practices in Production for Web Projects.
13. Dr. Ramesh Babu, AVP, E&R address via VC on Learning and Take away of DDFEP.
We are very happy to inform you that the feedback of Deep Dive Faculty Enablement Program by the participating Professors was excellent for the entire program.
