| The Campus Connect team at Chennai DC has successfully conducted a one day Campus Connect Conclave Program on 29th December 2010, at Infosys Mahindra City DC. This event saw an active participation from 35 faculty members including Principals, Placement officers and Management members from different colleges attached to Chennai DC. As part of the Conclave, 14 new colleges consisting 2 Deemed universities, 1 autonomous institution and 11 colleges affiliated to Anna University at their regional zones were added to Campus Connect Program. |

| The objective of the Conclave was to brief the participants about the Campus Connect program, it’s scope and offerings. It was also aimed at creating a readiness state for the new partner colleges to effectively roll out Campus Connect offerings. |
| This Conclave program focused on briefing the participants about the Campus Connect program by sharing our best practices, teaching and learning methodologies with the faculty members and thereby enabling them to roll out Campus Connect Program with greater effectiveness and rigor. The entire program was driven with in-depth focus on execution details of Foundation program, Soft skills program for affiliated colleges and incorporating Industry electives for autonomous and Deemed universities. |

The program commenced with a welcome note and context setting to the participants by Visvanathan Lakshmi Narayan, DC Head(Mahindra City, Chennai). He stressed the need for Industry-Academia collaboration, he also highlighted the importance & benefits of such collaborations in the present IT scenario.

- Sivasubramanyam, E&R shared the key offerings of Campus Connect and their importance from the perspective of the students and faculty in particular and the institutions in general.
- Veerappaji, E & R, Abhishek V Paul., PSD, Saranya Chandrasekaran from Recruitment team facilitated the sessions on Foundation Program Deployment walkthrough, Soft Skills Program deployment walkthrough and expectations from fresh entrants.
- Professors who are SPoC’s from the existing partner colleges shard their experience on Campus Connect Program rollout. In-depth focus on the challenges faced and the planning methodology was shared with the new partner colleges to help them address the initial roll-out plan strategy. Professors from existing partner colleges assisted the new partner colleges on how to set-up an effective Campus Connect core committee at the Colleges considering the guidelines. The new partner college faculty had their queries answered by the existing partner college SPoC’s on various issues.
- Brainstorming session on “Action Plan Template” was facilitated by Mukundh Nagarajan, Sivasubramanyam, Veerappaji and Abhishek thereby helping the institutions gain more insight in to the pre-work required to roll out the Campus Connect Offerings.
- An exhaustive Q&A session with all the speakers was held which opened up the forum for clarifications by the new colleges on various offerings of Campus Connect which was followed by a session on “Next- Steps”. Veerappaji., Campus Connect Anchor, Chennai delivered the Valedictory address.

The response and feedback for this program was overwhelming with a feedback score of 4.67 out of 5. The Conclave program offered a good networking platform to the partner college faculty members leading to a mutual learning experience for existing and new partner colleges.
